FS Orange Vitamin T2 titanium with Pace Proclass2 fork c1994

Dirt Disciple
Truely a classic of the 90's, this 20" titanium cult classic was recently revamped by Orange themselves.

This particular bike is original though, c1994 with a mix of original XTR and replacement parts (additional original XTR components available seperately).

This is the model I rode when riding for Orange in the 1990's, so I know how fast it is (very) as well as being unbelievably comfortable. It still retains that 90's racing long sleekness with the long stem and flat bars.

The frame itself has been well looked after, with the material itself being so robust, and in a completely natural finish, there are only some very minor, barely visible marks, mostly around the headtube area.

Complete and immediately rideable, with a mx of original and replacement components, most of the original XTR parts are available seperately. Current spec includes:

  • Pace Proclass 2 forks
WTB rims on original XTR hubs with Ritchey Speedmax tyres from same era
    Original stem and seatpin
XT rear mech, combined brake/gear levers and V-brakes
    Deore front mech and chainset
    Answer taperlite bars
    WTB saddle
    X-lite barends

Available seperately for the perfect build up project are (all original XTR, used)
  • hollowtech crankset,
    bottom bracket,
    V-brakes,
    brake levers,
    gear levers,
    front and rear mechs
These are from the first version of XTR Shimano produced, with the larger chainrings and sprockets, first of the parallelogram v-brakes and first version hollowtech chainset, with splined bb/crank joint.

I have ridden this bike about twice per year over the last 5 or 6 years, in dry weather only, hence the sale. As a result the replaced components are barely worn. The wheels are original, and there is some wear on the rims and hubs.

For full details of specs and pictures, contact me directly and I'll email you the url.

Viewing available (and recommended) in Sheffield.

Costs £1000 for the bike, £200 for the seperate components, £1150 the lot ovno.

Nice frame 8)

It's not the first version of XTR though, it looks like you are selling M950 but M900 was the first, and if I were really being pedantic (which apparantly I am  ) then M910 was the second although really only an update part group, so actually you are selling the third gen XTR

Just FYI. The last Vit T2 (frame) that sold on here only a month or so ago sold for £400

Apologies if it isn't the very first version of XTR, but it is a very early version.

More pics are available, but the system wont let me write the url just yet.
