For sale:
A set of Mavic D521 wheels. on 36h Shimano LX Parallax Hubs (HB M570), non-disc. Rear has 9 speed cassette, 11-32. Could sell as new, the condition is really that good. Bought about 5/6 years ago, used for approx 40 road miles then stored in shed since as I moved house, had another baby. Basically life and riding went on hold. Checked wheels last night and they both have approx 0.5 - 1 mm wobble(out of true). Pix further down the page. £65 posted

Is it possible for me to buy the Mavic D521 rims only off you - without the hubs, spokes and casette.

I'll pay you £25, which is almost half of what you're looking for and means you can still sell the hubs and cassette individually.

Are they bent at all?

What do you mean with 'wobble'? Are the spokes just loose or are the rims bent?

Can you send me a picture of the real wheel please?! Maybe I'll buy the whole thing off you then.

What teeth are on the cassette?

Oh yes, and does it come with a quick release?

Rims and spokes are good. No bends in either. 'Wobble', didn't know how else to describe it. When you spin the wheels on the fork or in the frame and you're looking down the rim edge, when it has no tyre on, the wheel rotates and it doesn't spin perfectly true but is out by approx 0.5mm. I think that just about describes it :? BOTH wheels will have qr's
