Claud Butler Frame 531 60cm

Claud Butler frame, the seat tube is 60cm from the centre to the top and the top tub is 57cm from centre to centre. It is 531 main tubes and forks, it dates from the late 70's early 80's. It has long horizontal rear drops outs. I am asking £70 including the postage.

Nice looking old frame but I would say that it is a lot older than you think. With those clearances, long rear dropouts and the lamp bracket boss on the forks I would say more like late 60's.

The frame number might confirm this.

The frame number is 029246 I was going by the age of the saddle which is 1979, so the frame could be older.
