I'm just dipping my Axo boot in the mud at the moment but this has been playing on my brain for the last few weeks :(

If the price is right we’re willing to let go of the family Klein to help fund other projects. It has been with us for just under a year and frankly it hardly moves (it’s a Klein what do you expect ). It’s done the odd lap of Richmond Park and it made a brief appearance at this year’s Mountain Mayhem and that’s about it. I originally snagged it from ‘thesneaker’ and since ownership I haven’t been able to resist tarting it up a little with a few nice new/NOS bits.

Frame/Fork/Stem

Condition is very good. It is totally dent and crack free. Seat tube slit is perfect. The paintwork is original and very, very good as are the decals. There are some minor chips here and there which you’ll spot if you study the pictures in detail but they’re consistent with a very well looked after bike. There is some extremely minor bubbling occurring around the lower bottle-cage mounts however this has not got any worse in the four years that James [thesneaker] and I have owned it. There is also a slight bit of fade which is difficult to pick up on; it certainly hasn't put me off as it is very hard to notice. Headset and BB all quiet and smooth.

Of course something is only worth what someone is willing to pay so I am open for discussion on that figure. I have set the price based on the excellent condition of fuselage and the amount of NOS kit on it, plus the excellent condition of what’s left of the existing kit. I’m in no mind to split at the moment. If I do decide to split I’ll let ya’ll know.

Bike is located in West London, collection is preferred but delivery can be arranged.

Pictures

The photos below I think give a very accurate likeness to the actual bike when you see it in the flesh. The colours are pretty bang on to the actual thing. For more pictures please see the link in my sig to the original build.

I can read, but if your plans change and you end up splitting I would be keen on at least the saddle, and maybe too the tyres...

Cheers,
BB

Thanks for the interest and PMs everyone. I've had a serious offer from a RBer in Germany, but I'm having a few challenges with shipping. LBS gave me a bike box which measures 130cm x 70cm x 25cm and I'm having trouble finding a courier to take it (total weight about 15kg).

Can anyone recommend a courier that might be able to help?

Thanks in advance, CB

Have you tried parcels2go? It's basically royal mail, dhl, ups etc, but works out much cheaper.

It's not so much the price that's a problem it's the dimensions of the box. If possible I want to avoid sending frame/wheelset seperately, I'd prefer it to go as one parcel.
