Front Bolt On Light

Hi all,

I've searched but couldn't find anything.

Does anyone have any recommendations / solutions for attaching a modern led type light to an old style fork mount.

I know it will be a hack of some kind but is there anything that will take minimal adjustment?

I have a 12v dynamo on the old traditional lamp bracket as well as a modern Cat Eye LED which is mounted on its side to get it to fit on the fork itself.

My Claud's got a little right angle bent bracket with holes in both the horizontal and vertical bits of the bracket - the vertical bit bolts to the fork, the horizontal neatly takes the tightening screw on my Cateye LED lamp. It was on the bike when I bought it, but I guess it'd be easy enough the bash something similar up.

Velo Orange do a range of retro looking lights with modern components inside. If they are as good as their rims then they will be very good quality despite being a bit pricey.
