FREE Sachs Aris 7 speed blocks

Once a tester

Retro Newbie
I'm having a clear out and I've found two Sachs Aris screw on 7 speed free hubs.

One is a brand new, never been used 12 - 18 straight through time trial block. (You've got to be fit to push this for any length of time!)

The other is a 12 - 23 road block with little use.

Ideal for those retro screw on hubs.

Yours for price of postage. Can do piccies if you insist.

Mail me if you are interested.

Forgive my lack of knowledge on these things, but will this fit my Pace rear hub with a screw fitting?

If so, can I take one of your hands?

I've no reason to think not. I used to use Mavic hubs with a screw thread and they were a perfect fit. Mind you, that was in the early 1990s, and Pace were relatively new boys then. Think you should be OK.

12-23 has been bagged, 12-18 OK for you?

A quick play on the kitchen scales and Royal Mail website gives post cost of £2.66 for first class recorded. If you are both happy let's go to PM to sort payment/addresses out.

That would be great. If it doesn't work, I'll offer up here on the same terms

Will drop you a PM

Think we've got a problem here - can anyone help?

fatfixie won't reply to my PMs, won't send me the postage even though he was pushing for this block. I told him yesterday that I'd post it today, which I've done; he's had all my details and a chaser, but is now apparently ignoring me.

I know the sum isn't a lot - £2.66, but he offered to pay, so is there anything I can do about it?
