Never had to use a hacksaw, liberal super crack a drift and a lump hammer to remove a quick release before!

I had to do that recently on my Cannondale! They had plastic ends caps that just span on the metal, so had to cut them off to get to something I could grip.

Still doesn’t beat the time I had to cut a pair of tyres off some wheels though! The steel beads would not stretch at all!

Stored outside...green tyres, stuck freehub, qr skewers welded into axle......oh well, we will see.

Will have to wave my metal finishing wand over them!
