Hi, ive got a jammed freehub (7 speed) are these fixable or will i need a new one if so has anyone got one?

In principle they're fixable, but parts aren't available, so you'd be canibalizing another freehub body in any case. If it's jammed, you probably have bits of broken pawls or worse floating about inside.

It generally makes more sense to replace the body. They're not that expensive as a spare part, but it can make sense to pick up a cheapie hub (Alivio or STX) from eBay to rob for parts. You sometimes need to match the right hand cone, seals and spacers to get the body to fit, and buying a hub makes sure you have all the right parts on hand. You could equally upgrade the body to 8 or 9 speed while you're about it.

If you decide you want to try to repair it, you need to buy (or make) a tool to fit the notches in the inner bearing cup. It unscrews clockwise.
