If you're talking about the rear dropout adjustment screws on Campag. dropouts, then afaik there are ideally different lengths of screw for different dropouts. The old Campag. 'long' rear dropouts take a screw a bit shorter than 1 1/2" (including the head)... probably 1 7/16", or whatever that is in new money. That means that when it is driven all the way into the dropout the wheel axle will be at its forwardmost position, beyond which it would be unsafe. Presumably the later, shorter dropouts ideally take a correspondingly shorter screw.. but you'll have to get a reply from someone other than me to confirm.
If you're asking about the thread/diameter of the screws, and whether its a common thread across different makes of dropout, I have no idea. I will say that, amongst a sizeable collection of salvaged assorted non-bike-specific machine screws, I couldn't find one that fitted a Campag. dropout..
