Thank you. Appreciate the detailed response.Show a photo of the back! Most watches have a similar design that uses a sort of "vice wrench" to unscrew the back. A "watch repair kit" can be had on eBay/Amazon for cheap. You can also open them with calipers if it's not too tight, carefully as to not scratch the back. After that there may be a plastic cover, depending on what kind of movement the watch uses. After that there should be a little tab holding the button cell battery in place that is either bent or pushed to the side and the battery will just pop right out. I have some Nike and Ripcurl watches. The Nike ones have tiny screws and the Ripcurls have this standard "vice wrench" design - don't remember the proper name.
As for batteries there is a bunch that is commonly found. You can buy a multipack of button cell batteries from a variety of stores and it's likely that the one you need will be there. Could probably also find a local high street jewellers that does watches and grab a battery from then once you've opened it.
Used to work in a keyshop that also did watches![]()
Thanks Bones58. The back of my watch is the same as yours, so seeing the inside of yours was really helpful. Gonna have a go at doing it myself! Thanks again.
