I have a set of old Formula K18's in need of a service, which will probably involve replacing the pistons in the master cylinders. One LBS told me that the internals of the K24 master cylinder are different to the K18 and a lot better. Another told me that they're the same inside and the only difference between the K18 and K24 is the colour and the bite-point adjuster!
I downloaded the most recent (200
exploded view diagram and it does look as though the internals of the master cylinders are the same apart from the piston stops (fixed for K18, adjustable for K24). Can anybody confirm this, or are there subtle differences that make the K24 significantly better?
