John Samway’s old bike, Formula One 1992.

Seat tube C-C 14”, C to top 18.5”, top tube C-C 22”, head tube 4.75”.

Beautifully restored by Gio, a member on here, a few years ago. I bought it last year and apart from changing the wheels to original spec ones I have done nothing to it, other than dust it!

The brakes need a bleed, I bought it like this and have never ridden it. It’s a true piece of MTB history and art IMO. I’m scaling down my collection, slowly, hence sale.

I bought the tyres off Gio that he offered with the bike for £100 making the total at the time £1200.

Price is £1100, this really needs to be collected I feel as I did, surely it’s too valuable in many ways to hand to a courier?

Man I hate my job, no time to browse RB. I'd have swapped a Yeti ARC and paid extra for that baby

Sold fast.. no surprise given how great it is.. I was considering selling a crop of Oranges to pay for it. Its a relief its sold, before i seriously considered it!

I wasn’t expecting it to hang around long but it only took 25 minutes, I hadn’t even got all the photos up or emotionally prepared for its leaving process to begin /
