Forks & more Forks

Cool thanks for confirming. Note my inability to quote properly. I'm new to this malarky! I'll measure my headtube this evening and ascertain if the steerer is long enough and get back to you. Looking for some forks for my 1991 rockhopper (new project)

the White ones if the blades are straight? Or the P bones preferably?

The white Saracen Fork have curved blades sorry, Will let you know about the P bones. But I think Si is having them.

Apologies for the questions
Are the P2's still available?
I am doing up a 1991 rockhopper. I measured the headtube and it was 129mm. As this is my first build I have no idea what steerer length I should be going for. Will these be long enough in your opinion?

Secondly what does A2C mean?!

Apologies. You can't take the 'stu' out of 'stupid'.

Hi stu I think you will need at least a 190 steerer tube (threadless) on your frame, Head tube + stem + headset= length of steerer. But then you would probably want some spacers as well. So I don't think there of any use to you.

A2C = Axle to crown height, your probably better googling Sheldon Brown's site as he explains it way better than me

Hope this has been of some help,

Thanks kaya

Thanks for the lesson! Makes perfect sense, appreciate it. Just getting used to all of this after years in the wilderness.
it's actually a '97 rockhopper but obviously the size is the same so no good. May post some photos of it in current state so look out for it!

cheers
stu
