I recently acquired a 1995 Kona Cinder Cone which I'm in the middle of restoring ......... Currently I'm just getting all the bits together for the rebuild
One of the things I've bought is a set of triple butted 1996 NOS Project 2 forks
The forks are threaded, are for a 19" frame, are silver/grey and completely unmarked
My '95 bike would originally have had bronze forks and the plan was to paint these forks, but they're too nice to make them non-original
So, I thought I'd ask, does anyone have a bronze set they'd like to trade with me?
I'll do a straight swap if they're in the same condition as mine, or a part ex depending on their condition
I'd rather swap them rather than sell them as they're not easy to come by, and if I sell them I don't know when another set will come up
If I can't find a trade then I'll just paint them, but thought I'd give you guys the opportunity to get some NOS forks to tidy up your bike before I did that
