For sale- Klein Attitude Dolomite 20"

For Sale is my Klein Attitude Dolomite 20"

I Bought this as frame/fork/stem earlier in the year and have built it with parts from a very low mileage (under 100 miles) Rocky Mountain Blizzard from the same period. I have ridden this for about 30 miles. Much as I love it I'm not going to get the use out of it.

The frame is sound, no cracks visible. The paint has some marks/scratches which I hope the photos show up. Its Shimano XT, including hubs, rims are wolber AT18, tyres are Ritchey Z-Max with virtually no wear. New Flite ti 1990 saddle. The only modern part on it is the deda seatpost, as I couldn't find anything of the right era when I built it.

Its not perfect, but still looks very striking on the trail. It rides great and got a huge amount of compliments/comments on the way round the coed y brenin enduro this year, which is the only time I've ridden it.

Hi Andrew,
Does the rear brake black outer run all the way from the brake lever through the top tube to the bridge above the brake as one run?, just trying to establish if the top tube has been drilled out.

What does it mean exactly DRILLED ? is it bad ?

Probably means the rear brake cable entry and exit holes in the top tube have been drilled out so a V brake cable can be fed through it, so now you can not run a traditional brake cable with standard inner cable guide on it anymore. Personally I wouldn’t touch it but I like my Kleins as they were intended.

What do you mean by traditional cable? Cantilever?
The one I will probably buy has v brake mounted on itnso I guess it has been drilled.
What a shame.. I guess this is not change anything on the caracteristics of the frame?
