I got halfway finished with this and realised that whilst it is an awesome bike I am never going to ride it properly and need the room/time to finish other projects.
So its up for sale - I'd prefer to sell as a package as it took me ages to pull together all the bits that someone would probably want for this build (but may split if I can't get my price).
So for sale we have:
GT STS DH frame - Large - 17 inch CTC/19.5 inch CTT
I bought this on ebay and it has naff decals. I have sourced some GT LTS DH graphics that I was going to mess about with to get them to work, but I'm sure Gil would sort you out with some proper ones.
Frame is in great condition for the frame - got some advice on here after buying to find out if I'd bought a dog or not and it seems sound. No mussy carbon behind the head tube etc.
It has some marks on the alloy but nothing that a bit of polishing couldn't sort out.

Comes with Rockshox Super Deluxe 750 shock - and an old spare that came with it.

Awesome condition forks - couple of marks at the bottom of the legs but other than that almost NOS condition.
