As above - Shimano UN54 square taper bb 68 shell by 118 axle. Brand new in box, arrived this morning - but realised after I ordered it that I ordered the wrong size (see my bb thread in the forum). £19.95 brand new - £12 posted to you lot because you're great.

Thanks Gazz, I'll check it out. I need 68x107mm apparently. Probably the same as your Clockwork as it's for a '94 P7? But clearly I don't know diddly squat about bbs!

Join the club mate- until last year, all I felt I needed to know was the way to my LBS :roll:

Got a book "Zinn and the art of mountain bike maintance" and sheldon browns website and have just completed my first build, from the ground up- best way to learn IMHO.

Looking forward to seeing your orange develop

Funny thing is I've built loads of bikes but never had to buy a new bb - which seems crazy, but true.
P7 came from someone at work who skipped loads of bits including two '94 P7 framesets (!), Hope C2 brakes, Hope Bulb/Mavic wheelset etc. I had away with it all and built this for a grand total of £78. Decided to make it period correct, but it's ridden hard and a bit grubby in places.

The other P7 has gone to my cousin I'm afriad. If I find another though, I'll keep you posted!
