Ideal for your retro family (wife and kids that is) 
Bought recently as part of a job lot, excess to requirement - we have two steel Hard Rocks, both 17" with forks included and one aluminium Rockhopper in 13".
One Hard Rock comes with stem and handlebars. The other comes with bottom bracket, but this will probably need replacing - I don't have the tool to do this - it's one of those with a lock ring. Both frames are in reasonable condition - plenty of scratches, but no dents.
The Rockhopper will have to make a singlespeed street-hucking rig (whatever the terminolgy is
) as it's missing its derailleur hanger. It has mounts for both v-brakes and disc brake. The cable guides for brakes are a little battered but probably salvageable. It's tatty but sound. Bit of bubbling corrosion around bottle cage mounts/crud guard mounts. Very light frame!
I will even chuck in an additional free newer steel 21" Hard Rock frame, however this one has a few problems: a seized seatpost (now cut short) and the rear stays are slightly bent - but being steel you could probably bend them back and a small dent at the bottom of the down tube which look slike someone has taken a hammer to it after getting p***ed off trying to get the seat post out (not me BTW!).
