I'm very much in two minds about selling this - it's really nice! But having just acquired a second Clockwork I've basically run out of space in the shed - and this is too good to leave under a tarp in the back garden.

This is a very low mileage largely original bike. It's almost completely Deore MT62, with the original Wolber rims, very cool black Deore chainset and a pair of Deore U brakes. Appears to be running its original chain - which I've checked for wear - it's got loads of life left. Check out the minimal wear on the rims. This has not been ridden much.

Non original stuff include the tyres (very good Schwalbe Hurricanes), shifters/brake levers (modernish Shimano, but work well enough) and the grips and saddle QR. The saddle is off a Tufftrax - it's a bit scruffy but looks right.

Everything works on this, nothing is seized as far as I can tell, the frame is straight and free from any significant damage. It has some scratches and surface rust here and there - would benefit from a bit of tidying and fettling (new cables etc.) but it's a good rider with room for improvement. A nice ride it and tidy-up project.

No pedals included although I will find a set if you want to ride it home.

Add £25 for Hermes delivery (payment via PayPal gift). Not willing to haggle if I'm posting it but if you can pick up in person from North London (and pay cash) then I'm open to (near) offers.

Re:

That's an awesome deal !!

It's also the same groupo that my '89 Brodie Romax came with, back in '89 (I couldn't afford the price uptick to get the XT bits)

Re:

Having sold you the Clockwork that means you have to sell this, i now what to buy the Trekker so I can pinch the groupset for my Trekker! :D

Ha! Oh dear...

Gotta admit I'm kind of hoping someone will want to keep it original. I'm aware that I could probably make a small profit from splitting it up... seems a shame though. I dunno. Shouldn't be sentimental I suppose...

Re:

If Brocklander doesn't want it i'd like to add it to my 1988/89 collection i'm building up at the moment, let me know please.
