flyte titanium saddle

I use to have a flite titanium saddle on both of my 90s mountain bikes pace rc200 and orange vitamin t2 both of them from what I can remember had no padding under the leather all the ones for sale new seem to have a gel padding are there 2 versions of this classic seat

Yes, one was a carbon shelled version that was butt naked.......

is this version still available as they all seem to be the later gel type what are for sale

I haven't seen one in a shop for ages, but they do pop up on the bay from time to time.......would imagine they would be uncomfortable though!.......

do you mean the saddle had a carbon fibre shell with no leather on , as I have seen these , the ones I had had the leather cover but had no padding underneath

Ahhh, yes the ones I'm on about were bare carbon.....no leather at all......

the original ones were leather atop a very small amount of padding but many found them comfortable due to the shape and then there were the carbon ones that are mentioned above with no padding at all the current reissues are called flyte classic or something like that but they are rather different from the previous 90s version hope that helps thanks nate
