Not really, apart from they're easier to fit in that they overcome some of the problems you get with EVO and earlier. I have EVO II's one one bike and will shortly be fitting to another as the brakes work better....neither bike is particularly Period Correct though.

stopping my 15 stone and ease of use is more important to me than period authenticity.....

I can put the original Alivio crap canti's back on if she goes to a museum

If it's any consolation I don't weigh much less than that and my HS33/EVO II's stop me like Roadrunner
