First retro road purchase...

Long time retro MTB poster first time retro road purchaser.

Wanted a road hack but couldn't go mainstream so picked up Fausto Coppi for £90.

Is that ok?

I was looking at new stuff and thought why spend £££'s on something dull when no doubt there'll be something interesting for less than £100!

Quick google showed these to be okish so why not?

Interested to find out if it's alloy or Steel?

Downtube looks positively alloy but apparently they made some steel in this shape?

If it's fat welds then alloy. There were a fair few steel frames in the mid-90s with fat teardrop steel down tubes.

Full RX100 with Miche hubs.

Fits well and just needs a light tinker...
