First generation Alien with 24" rims? Huh??

what would be the point of 24" wheels on a frame that large? Weren't 24" wheels used on smaller frames to bring the size down even smaller, back then?

Mikee,

It's all yours. If that bike is as tall as I think it is (23.5" seat tube?), I'd need a ladder to get up it and a parachute to dismount.

Even if it is designed for 24" rims, I'll bet it's at least a 22" frame, which is still way too big for me.

I suspect that the guy is measuring the actual rim without the tire on it, which is about 22.5", and then rounding up to the nearest foot (note he did say "rims", and not "tires").

In any case, I'd say it's a bargain for $75. If I were a 7-foot tall giant living in the SF Bay area, I'd buy it :)
