Finding retro bikes in France or Belgium

Hi everyone, at the end of the month I'm driving to Ghent to watch the Six Day racing and the World Cup cyclocross at Koksijde, and I was thinking that all it needs to make it a perfect trip is if I can pick up a retro road bike on the way.

Has anyone got any ideas about how to do this? I'll be taking the ferry to Calais and driving from there to Ghent, and I plan on trying some bike shops and the Ghent fleamarket on Sunday to see if they have anything. If anyone has any ideas about good shops to hit up or anywhere else to try that would be great

the yellow pages for local second hand stuff, or i've been using the ebay annonces pages, which is basically a free listing for buy it now on anything, so type in velo and tap in on the area on the map that you want, then a whole list of bikes should come up..seems to be working for me, picked up an anquetil last week..can see a gitane and mercier on the way..these are all in the 40 to 60 euro band, and that is just in the charente!! happy hunting...

Stablinski bikes are rubbish , supermarket bikes . He was a good rider but put his name on a lt of crap bikes .

Bertin are ok .
