FC-M900 black or anthracite?

Did the XTR Cranks (M900 in particular) come in black? I've got a set here in silver which need a polich but would like to do them Matt black or anthracite. Did they come that way as original items?

No. They were polished, not black.

XTR should have stayed polished. later groupsets might work better, but non look as good as the original.

It's only a year newer than the Lavadome build too so it's going to be polished and used - hopefully got rings sorted (2 of them anyway)

the cranks were polished, but the other components in the group were a nice blue steel color

at least the plastic bits
