Fat slicks - which ones to buy?

The physio told me today that mountain biking was definitely a no-no at the moment as my post-op shoulder counldn't hack it. I confessed I'd been out in the woods on the bike and he was not happy

I do have a road bike, but to be honest the tarmac vibrations really agravate, so I need some fat (as not to look too stupid) slicks to go on my full-susser for road use. I've got 1.5" Schwalbe City Jets on the commuter, but they're too small and the profile is awful. I could swipe the DMR Moto tyres off my wife's bike but they are over a kilo each!

So, what's out there? Light, wide, easy rolling etc....

I hope to start stalking roadies on my mtb.... :twisted:

Running at about 65psi, they're fast but unlike my Conti 1.2, these 1.5 soak up the bumps.

Schwalbe City Jet have the response of a three-legged pit pony!

I have just taken a pair of these off my SV (as Im going to Glentress tomorrow)

They are mega heavy but I have never had as much confidence in Bicycle tyres ever before

They stick like $hit to a rug !

Conti Air King? 2.2 and 570g for the folder. Haven't ridden them though, I'm also looking at Schwalbe marathon extreme but the range is quite extensive and has a variety of weights/profiles.

I've got some....Nokia's ????....(I know) for sale at the moment, they're a bit wider than the city Jet's and a lot more free-riding.... I'll measure and weigh them if you're interested?

i use tioga fs100 in 2.3 flavour. have treated me well, looking to get some hookworms though
