Fat Chance Titanium

Re:

What size are you after ? Less than 200 of these EVER made and only a handfull of the big and small sizes. Waaaaaay ahead of their time in terms of design and build. No disconcerting frame swaying wibble wobble when you are descending at speed like most other Ti frames of that era and telepathic predictable handling and comfort for all day riding. Also the mono stays were stiff enough that the brakes actually worked properly without the need for a brake booster.

Goodluck with the search Tom.
In the spirit of helping out, here are two images of a 1993 (no.13) FAT Ti
My advice as a keen rider , would be to focus on finding a 1994 model as I think the fabrication process for the seat tube / bb was a bit more refined by then (mine has required repairs via Indy Fab)...and I wholeheartedly agree with M-Powers words about them 8) :D

Re:

An American guy found an abandoned flawless M/L 94 in the garage of a house he purchased. Im supposing that it was a probate sale because no living FAT Ti owner would leave such a bike behind ! Agree with Tangent, the 94 is really something. Its like being in the presence of a religious icon every time I clap eyes on it. I can just stare at it for a few minutes, then run my fingers over her perfect butt....she even feels warm to the touch
