Its not necessarily a bad thing to split these up, if it was grello or violet it would be OK, or a plain colour, but as its a "one-off" paint scheme it smacks of cynical profit maximisation.

The seller posts on here. There was another thread about this sale, his reasoning is that the frame has the Fat Chance rusty seat tube issue.

So his reasoning is that the frame is no use? Odd as the description says:

"There is a dent in the top tube and some signs of some corrosion but no holes within the seat tube

Someone has removed some paint from the back of the seatube to investigate but the corrosion clearly hasnt gone through yet

This frame has been kept in the dry for a long time so the corrosion will not get any worse if kept dry

Id suggest treating the seatube with an anti corrosive agent like Waxoil"
