FAT Chance seatpost diameter query

Question for the FAT Fans here.

What diameter seatpost fits FAT Chances? Mid 90's post-Sommerville.

It is 29.4mm??

Have previously been using a 27.2 shimmed out to fit.I've been measuring up the frame but just cannot quite decide on the exact figure.

What have other riders found to works?

Yes, 29.4

If you decide to go with shim again: Nothing wrong with also trying shims 0.2 or 0.4 larger. For a neat tight fit.

Well... not to muddy the waters, but make sure you're talking about Yo Eddys - which used 29.4 since its inception in 89.

The Fat Chance model, as well as the Wicked used 26.4.

Post Sommerville makes Wickeds and 'Fat Chances' not very likely

Moreover Tangent used to use a 27.2 post with shim, making a Wickeds & co even less likely
