Your eyeballs are the same size today as they were when you were born.

And no, I don't want any other analogies please!! al. :D

But the proportions in regard to your swede are different, cue a lucrative market in eye make up to make them look even bigger.

It's the 'ahhh doesn't he/she look cute' factor.

Babies are seen as cute, mostly women try to mimic that with small noses, smooth skin, big lips, upturned top lip and bigger eyes.

Subconciously we immediately see 'cute'.

According to General Ophthalmology (Vaughan, Asbury and Riordan-Eva, Appleton & Lange, Stamford, 1999), "the size of the eyeball at birth averages 16.5 mm in diameter (front to back measurement). In adults, the diameter is 24.2 mm." The maximum eye size is reached when a person is 7-8 years old. So, the eye grows 50% in diameter, and to something over double its birth weight (+115%).

So, apparently not a fact then......

Where as a single Ostrich eyeball takes up more volume in its head than its brain.............why am I envious :?

Nobody likes a smart arse!

Anyway, a fact is a fact if I believe it to be one, fact. The fact that this fact is not a fact makes me a little upset a friend had convinced me it was.

If I am guilty of anything, it is I trust people too much. Is this a crime?

Go on then, burn me!! :(
