Years ago I found an unusual bike frame thrown in a skip,it had a headbadge of pressed aluminium and enamel, the badge read "euro 100".
Me and my old man stripped all the paint from it and resprayed it in metallic gold which was very similar to the colour it was when I found it.
The strange thing about it was that the rear stays were suspension units and a similar design to the early answer manitou frames
They were actually like motorbike shock units with an external spring and internal damper,we found some shocks from an old moped with alloy covers and internal springs and we rebuilt it all
It had a twenty inch wheel and a u style brake at the back under the bb but looked ancient, like something from about the 1940s :?
Just wondered if anyone had ever seen another one :?
My old man recently threw it in the scrap when he sold the lockup where it was stored
Gutted I was
