Lightweight construction shift lever
The probably lightest shift lever it gives is auctioneered here. As basis Paul Thumbie adapter and a Dura Ace steering wheel final shift lever served. On a CNC center milling cutter was befraest the adapter and glossy finished afterwards. The steering wheel wedging is effected for 22,2mm steering wheel of kind of condition and by means of a Schmolke M5 carbon screw. The lever was bebohrt, ground and glossy finished likewise. The connection of the two parts is made by a turned off M5 aluminum screw. The carbon cover is manufactured (second from aluminum settled). It concerns a left lever without grid. It can be used for Umwerfer and switching device; I built and several times successfully tested it for my Schlaltwerk. It is correctly stable and funktiniert perfect. The weight amounts to sayful 41.95 gram. The original value of the parts amounts to over 200 euro, let alone for which many days work put those into it.
