Ergo 2nd Gen Brake Only Conversion

Hi,
I really like the feel of 2nd gen ergos.
I would like to use some 2nd gen Record ergos as brake only levers. (No Shifting). Is taking the shifter assembly out easy enough to do?
Only other option is to buy the carbon blade Record brake only levers that campy made (basically a 10s shifter without the shifter) and swap the lever out for a 10s alloy one.

Any thoughts?

Its pretty easy to dismantle, although reassembly is more tricky but still not very hard.
