Elastomers for proflex bike???

Hiya, i'm gettting my old Proflex 455 overhauled and i need some elastomers for the rear suspension. Where can i get some from? I've looked on the 'Rapid Descent Scotland' website but the guy must be out of town at the moment as i have'nt had any reply to my e-mail.

Any one else that might have some Old New Stock or who makes some alternatives that i could use?

Can't remember what size 455 needs but member SLIM might be able to help. Re rpaid descent, Callum is notoriously slow at responding to emails. May be better (by his own admission) to make enquiry on the forum on his website.

Good luck.

Thanks for the heads up, i'ved PM'ed SLIM but no reply their either yet. Looks like this is'nt going to be as easy as i thought. I figure somebody out their will have some old stock or know a good work around. The Proflex 455 looks fairly similar to the Proflex 555 so its just finding a Proflex enthusiast who has had the similar issue, The elastomers jsut wear out but if i can find a stock i'll buy a few. Here's a photo of the bike. Sorry its a little blurred. (taken on mobile)

Here's a close up of the rear suspension highlighting how the elatomers work on the proflex 455, i'm guessing it'll be the same principle as the other Proflex models.

Proflex elastomer

Hi,

Did you sort out the elastomer problem on your proflex 455?

I have lots of Proflex parts still in stock, Girvin Flexstems, Girvin Vector I and Vector II suspension forks, frame and fork parts from 1992-1997 models.

My company distributed Proflex branded bicycles from 1993 till 1997.
