Here is a Nos never been used Specialized titanium bottom bracket in 73 x 129mm ..think this is for a FSR team S-Works full suspension frame or hardtail

Condition New Nos never been used Rare size found this digging though boxes

Comes with new bearings super smooth and this BB has never been fitted and is standard english thread.....think it's 1992 or could be 1993 or 94 as it has the red locking ring one side some came with red none drive side around that time....think this is for Cook's CQP Middleburn cranks etc.

£60 posted overseas is at extra cost

never seen this before. I have the one that was around at the time of the FSR and it looks nothing like that, also 129mm seems long for that vintage too no? Is there any actual branding on it that says it's Specialised or S-Works?

Re:

This one never had the logos etched on the cups..I did have the Crank bolts with S logos on, but remember selling them, wish I hadn't now ...some of the very early Specialized bottombrackets never got finished I'm guessing with etched logos...I just put together what was laying in my box I cleaned out this was in there.... i know 129 is for the early cranks but not very common with the Specialized range of cranks they used ..this is defantly for rarer trick cranks

Found this pic on google pics of unfinished early Specialized bottom bracket think ...with or with out logos...defantly early specialized titanium

Think in the end maybe the opted for more standard sizes axle lengths just guessing on that

Middle photo is of the very last bottom bracket I sold..that had the logos on the same cups .lthink that had locking rings in silver ..think one I sold had one black & silver

Re:

Agreed. I have an early Spesh Ti BB without the logos on one cup. 129mm is early spec and fits the Cook Bros CBR cranks ~ 129-130mm which have a wider Q factor than the RSRs @ ~ 127mm

Re: Early Nos Specialized Titanium Bottom Bracket 73 x 129

Can't determine from the pictures. How long is the square tapered area?

Re: Early Nos Specialized Titanium Bottom Bracket 73 x 129

Anybody's here? ;-)

Interested, but I need to know if this bottom bracket comes with spindle with long taper, as described here [1]. "Standard" JIS taper like Shimano starts at 13mm whereas "CQP/Cook" JIS taper starts at 12.5mm. Can you please check taper size?

Thanks!
