Wow, that really is good value. It might be 1993?
Reminds me I bought a 1993 Rockhopper Comp f/f on eBay for £26 in 2004. Didn't want it, it just seemed cheap and I thought I could do something with it. Built it up and sold it to my sidekick at work. He said it completely transformed his commute and the last I heard from him he had done over 10,000 miles on it and still going strong - and that was a while back.
eBay isn't all bad.
