Hi, started building my Gios rat bike last night, most of the parts I've collected over time are bolted on now and looking distinctly shabby chic! I don't think the boys in Turin would approve but I'm liking how it's going!
I wanted to run as an 8spd set up, Shimano 600 series tricolour rear deraileur, 6500 crank up front with a 9spd Ultegra braze on for big ring shifting duties, 600 series down tube shifters, question is, can I use a 9spd chain with an 8spd rear deraileur?
