you go the trouble of buying a beautifully built period correct clunker( and i've seen this bike in the flesh)

Yes, because I really wanted to ride it. The DSI rear tyre bead would not sit properly and I chose to mismatch tyres than potentially ding the rim. They hold the rim well but are the wrong tyre.

This kind of disgusting practicality and so called "bike riding" has no place on retrobike. Dont you know your bikes should all be ornaments to an idealised past?
