Sounds like my dog, rope based toys are not worth buying as he shreds them in seconds. One of his favourite toys that I (and most of us) have an endless supply of is an old inner tube, give a punctured tube a quick clean and he loves tugging, chewing and flinging it around.

My dog did exactly that last night with what looks like the same toy. Today she got through the new football I bought her..... and the red current bush.
