Interesting.....sounds like the guy was a regular aggressive anti-biker. I think we have all run into some drivers a bit like this though.

He may only do a couple of yrs,but he'll realise that at 60 prison isnt somewhere you want to spend your remaining years in.

He's crying, and apologising. Of course. Cause he got caught.

I could go and stab someone with a kitchen knife, and if I did I'd be sent down for murder. Yet strangely, if I ran a cyclist off the road in a car, chances are I wouldn't get into any trouble at all. :twisted:

I bet his lawyer will appeal the sentence and it will be lowered. But at last justice

The French have it sorted

Instead of innocent until proven guilty in France you have a incident with a bike you are guilty till proven innocent

Hence they give you soooo much room

Having said that I've observed some shocking behaviour by cyclists on my bike commute even in rural Herefordshire!
