do v brake levers work with canties???

Technically they do work, practically they do not work.

As far as I tried once the V-brake levers brake terribly hard with canti's.

Dangerously well would be a more accurate description :(

There was a gizmo called a travel agent that enabled them to work, not sure if still available though

No probs on my RTS for 8 or so years

LX canti levers and DX V's; ok not as much 'feel' as with V levers, but they work fine.

Agree with Pickle,my xtr v levers worked fine with Onza ho cantis,I just wound the little aduster all the way out,I belive this is also what Thomas Frishknect also used to do using xtr and ritchy cantis.

he's asking for the other way around.

the travel agent is meant for V-brakes on canti levers.

if the pull of the v levers can be adjusted it may work soso but it's not a good thing in general.
