do/did Manitou make agricultural machinery

Saw a farm forklift made by manitou, is this the same company?

I know that Lamborghini make tractors so wondered if this was a similar story.

No made in France, nice Fork lifts, Lamborghini tractors don't make the cars either Same name, very different owners.

Used to razz rental Manitous as above around a fair bit. Found the hubs started leaking after a while on most of them though. :?

Still, not bad to drive by forklift standards (eg nowhere near as good as a tractor)

Lamborghini cars were born out of spite for Ferrari by the owner of Lamborghini tractors. Though they are now owned by Volkswagen.

No idea about Manitou, but i doubt it.
