Discs or V's on a Singlespeed?

Hello,
I'm in a bit of a dilemma :?
Would it be preferable to run discs or V brakes on a singlespeed? I'm building one up at the moment and was wondering what the preferences are out there. I've got Avid Arch Rivals to use for the V's or Hayes disc ready to use for the, errr, discs.
I do find V's easy to set but like the clean look of discs.
Any help as to pros/cons of each would help to make my mind up.
When it's finished, only a few more parts to go, ongoing changes for colour co-ordination, shinier things etc, I'll get pics up.

I'm thinking of putting a disc on the front and a V-brake on the rear - just to be different! But it would involve finding another SUP 217 CD Ceramic ...

I was going to do that on the frame I'm about to sell, not through choice but had no disc mounts on the frame and have Pace disc only forks. Looks ok though. But now I'm having a disc frame and have just bought V-mounts for my forks so I'll be able to do either That's why I put my thread up

Honestly, if I had the choice, on any bike I intend to use (don't have any others) I'd go with disks every time. They're just so much better than rim brakes in so many different ways.

So, in my opinion, if you've got disk mounts it's a no brainer really.
