Never seen it. You could have different sizes on different sides of the hub, but not mixed sizes on same side. Not a hub, but Kona Control Centre headsets had bigger bearings at the bottom vs the top.Has anyone seen this before, I’m just stripping a wheel to service it and the bearings are different sizes?

To be fair, a ball bearing on its escape can comfortably exceed the speed of light. Accepted physics be damned, I can never see where the <*+@#£> things go at the time, or find them later.![]()
Looks like someone lost a couple of the larger balls under the workbench and decided to pad them out with some smaller ones.
