Different cup on a UN72E

Can I use a non 'E' cup on a UN72E ??

The proper cup is is fubar... and a replacement isn't forthcoming..

No idea, but probably (assuming drive side you mean ?) Just don't use the extra spacer any more.

You can, but it'll screw right into the frame (the e-type cup has a 2mm thicker internal stop on it).
