Did the '90 Pine Mountain come with Exage 400 LX front mech?

The reason I ask is I always thought it had a Deore DX groupset throughout, but now I'm stripping down and restoring my 1990 Pine Mountain, I notice the front mech is an Exage 400 LX...

I don't think I ever changed it, but I could be wrong!

hmmm... I thought it was DX throughout, but groupset mixtures were not uncommon back then.

The 1990 Pine Mountain came with a DX group set. Just rebuilding my Pine Mountain as well.

Yeah, I have that already and it says Deore DX, which is why I posted the question. Cheers all the same.

Have just bought a clean Deore DX front mech on eBay for £11.
