B3 Senior Retro Guru Nov 13, 2010 #2 I always used a candle, lightly "dip" the frame into the flame until you get what you want then laquer over the lot several times. It's a trial & error thing but you'll get there. ATB John

ishaw Gold Trader GT Fan Feedback View Nov 13, 2010 #3 As above, but don't put the flame too near the paint for obvious reasons. If you ha e a go and it doesn't work out, you can just wipe it off and star again, and once you are happy with it, add some clear coat or lacquer.
