This is a little (but long) project I recently completed for a mate.
I spotted this frame on ebay and snaffled it for a good price from a woman in Melbourne. She travels between France and Australia a bit and picked it up in a bike shop in suburban Paris a few years back. It had never been built up.
I built it up to be ridden as a weekend and commuting bike and thus put a fairly modern groupset on it. The hills of Hobart warrant a selection of gears and good brakes.
Anyway, long story short, here is the final spec.:
Detto Pietro Golden Wheel frame and fork (Columbus SL tube set)
Campagnolo Veloce 10 speed
Campagnolo Record hubs laced to Mavic Open Pro rims
Cinelle bar and stem
San Marco saddle and bar tape
Campagnolo Record headset and Chorus seatpost
Campagnolo Chorus pedals
The seatpost and pedals don't appear in these pics but have since arrived and the bike had its maiden voyage last weekend.
The parts took a while to source, but I am happy with how it came together and it felt good to bring that pretty frame to life.
There isn't a lot of information around on these frames. A local fella reckons it is a mid spec frame. Nothing fancy, but functional.
