$850 shipped to UK, import duty and VAT? Maybe £500 all in.....frame is nice but most of the parts would be canned IMO so maybe not "a steal" :?

Clearly, not so good once you've got it this side of the pond ... unless you get it delivered in the US and import it yourself

I spotted 1 of these in Glasgow in a snips for £350 second hand in 98 ,i went and had a test ride and it felt good,the guys said his brother owned it but was selling as he was moving back to the states ,said it was a race bike,and he had the bars cut at about 14",i was quite new to mountain bikes,so i didnt realize how good a deal it was,prob was my parents were funding it and refused to pay that much for a used bike,they ended up getting me a Cannondale new for about £550
Till i spotted this post i'd forgotten all about it, i feel sick now
