Hi, i just bought this Dawes wildcat

I am looking to convert it to single speed/fixie, do some restoration work on the frame and change the stem and handlebar to get an upright position.
I was going to do some of the work myself, but I have no experience what so ever.
I am in the Windsor area, so if anyone knows someone that does such work on retro bikes (MTB and road as I am also looking to buy a reynolds 531 road bike to convert to a fixie) please let me know.
Also, any other advice on the project would be much appreciated.
